Season 2 DVD

Against the backdrop of post-World War II Australia, A Place to Call Home stars Marta Dusseldorp (Jack Irish) as Sarah Adams, a nurse who becomes involved in the affairs of the wealthy Bligh family. Dealing with themes such as anti-Semitism, sexuality, and social class, this rich and meaningful, high-quality production has been hailed as "Australian television to be proud of" (The Guardian, UK).

I did not care about these people the acting was so bad. And the jolting back and forth between stories hardly helped. I'm sure "Poldark" will be better.

Comments about PBS A Place to Call Home, Season 2 DVD:

In the non-Australian version of A Place to Call Home, there is a beautiful song at the end, not the title song of the episode "No Other Love." Apparently the "international version" had a different ending song. No one seems to know anything about this song - and it is not attributed in the credits. "I Found Everything When I Found You" is the most likely name of it - it is a gorgeous song. I'd like to know more about it if anyone in the U.S. might know?

I love the show, but one thing bugs me- the writer must be obsessed with homosexuality.
