This is a Keeper, enjoy each year again

Comments about PBS Mormon Tabernacle Choir: Let the Season In Featuring Deborah Voigt and John Rhys-Davies DVD:

this is a great show and we will continue to watch each year, love the "Christmas Carol" section.
my preference is to have more video on the dancing acts and wider angle at times for full impact. Also more close ups and focus on the "Bell section" during their time since "Bell" music is so rare.

Very good concert but technical concerns

Comments about PBS Mormon Tabernacle Choir: Let the Season In Featuring Deborah Voigt and John Rhys-Davies DVD:

I purchased this on DVD, since they chose not to release this on Blu Ray, and I watched it Christmas night. And, while the concert was good, but not as good as the previous year's offering, I was bothered by what I call poor black levels in the video. Every "fade-to-black" after the beginning credits and before the ending credit, was a "fade-to-gray!" Did anyone else notice this? Also, the entire presentation had a pastel quality about it, sort of hazy in spots. Not what one expects when the video is shot in High Def. like I'm sure it was. Perhaps the producers of the program chose to have a certain "look" to the video, but in my view, it was occasionally a distraction. I wish someone from the production team would comment on this, but overall, I was disappointed with the video quality.
