I saw this late night on pbs once and fell in love with it but i couldnt seem to finish it since everytime it was on it was late. amazing documentry and easily my favorite once i watched the whole thing. i highly recomend this set because it never gets old...i watch it about once every 6 weeks.

My husband and I first saw this on PBS and loved it. We purchased the DVD for my father-in-law, but he rarely got to watch it due to friends and family borrowing it. We are now buying a copy for ourselves so we can see it again and again. Dick makes building and living in the wilds seem easy. Some editing is a bit rough (old film), but it doesn't detract from the story or the beauty of the area.
