From the first Homo Sapiens to today's nearly 7 billion souls, the march of human development offers the basis for an epic BBC documentary for the Travel Channel, tracing our origins in Ethiopian deserts and outward migration to colonize other continents. How did we get to where we are--and what did our ancestors survive to make their journeys?

Comments about PBS Incredible Human Journey DVD:

This is the second DVD of this type that I have purchased to share with my Grandchildren. Science needs a way of perking their interests. What better way than this. It is a rich and interesting pathway to find out about ourselves. Will use this as a tool to capture their interests. Many Thanks for this great program.

Comments about PBS Incredible Human Journey DVD:

Dr Alice Roberts is so friendly and makes this so fun to watch while she meets the natives and fellow archeolgists and it is nice as we follow her on her own journey and quest. It is interesting to find out how our fellow humans from long ago managed to get to the far away places and with out fear of falling off the edge of the earth and the many dangers and climents they faced. Intersting to see how the first eureopeans looked, lived, and some of their cave paintings and the Austrailians paintings too and learned the first human language in Africa. Nice that she had DNA test to see which group her ancestors arrived in Europe with.
