I was amazed at how little I knew about this era of art, literature, dance, music, etc. This documentary beautifully and thoroughly portrays this era where artists in all venues were blasting through traditional ideas and modes and showing us brilliance, beauty, media, and style in all new ways -- literally blowing minds.

The DVD was purchased for our son, a Modern European History major in a PhD program. The DVD has many images he is able to use teaching his classes as an adjunct faculty. Connecting various aspects of culture are so important to help students make appropriate connections.

Couldn't wait for this to come in the mail and I wasn't disappointed. Very informative and entertaining, gave me a new appreciation for the early part of this century. I had no idea that Paris was such an important part of that time period.
