Great behind-the-scenes look at the people who operate all aspects of the circus. Up-close and personal of the owners/producers, performers, and the back-stage guys and gals. Run away with the circus right from your living room and see what it takes to put on the greatest show on earth!! Highly recommend it. This was particularly poignant for me as I had seen many of these performers put on a show here.

I just watched Circus on Hulu.....wow, great show. I have never had much of an interest in the Circus but your documentary has made me think differently about it. I will definately go to the Circus when it comes to my area. I think it is a tradition well worth keeping and passing on to my nieces and nephews. I really loved Glen the clown. His character is so perfect for the Circus...almost like the Tramp only sweeter. I love the introduction to the show, everything about it is visually perfect. I especially like when you have Glen spinning around a smiling. I would actually love a t-shirt with that picture on the back and a saying on the front "Smile, like you're Happy!" Seems perfect for the clown who suffers from depression. His story just really hit me in a strange way, to see this person who makes people laugh when it does not seem like there has been a lot for him to laugh about in his life.

We've gone to the Big Apple Circus several times in Boston and have always enjoyed it. The documentary is excellent and provides a compelling look behind the scenes. For anyone who has seen BAC, this is a must-see... and for anyone who hasn't, this will encourage you to buy a ticket the next time they come to town! I saw several of the PBS episodes on tv and was disappointed about missing a few of them. I was delighted to find the entire collection for sale on the PBS website... our local library didn't have it. It is well worth the price... both grown ups and children in my family are enjoying the documentary, and my 14 year old has watched several of the episodes more than once.

This is a very good story about a small but well known circus. It is about how the management lines up the preformers and the acts and goes on the road to different locations to preform their acts with perfect timeing and execution.
