The information of Lafayette's life is wonderfully presented. I showed it to teenagers and they said they liked it a lot. The narration kept their interest and later they remembered that he & his wife married very young and other facts. I highly recommend this DVD.

Very nice presentation of an American hero. His glowing optimism & devotion to the cause of "freedom for all" still shines bright in a dark world. He will surely never be forgotten! The story of his wife's devotion and the stay in the austrian prison is very touching. Thanks to all who contributed to making this documentary and bringing it to PBS.
