Comments about PBS Time Team America: Seasons 1 & 2 DVD:

LUV Season 2. Packed with History and Information. Reference to Harriet Beecher Stowe and "Uncle Tom's Cabin" are wonderful. Also history on Josiah Henson is terrific! I would highly recommend this DVD.

Great shows if a bit optimistic

Comments about PBS Time Team America: Seasons 1 & 2 DVD:

The Time Team America shows are generally very interesting and well done. They cover sites such as Ft. Lawton, Georgia which many have not heard of. Our one criticism is that they grossly exaggerate how much can be done in three days even with modern techniques. My wife worked as a practicing archaelogist for some years after bachelor's and master's degrees. I am a chemical researcher and have a strong interest in archaelogy myself. We both know how much time proper research takes. We are glad that the shows do illustrate that not every part of a dig may be a success. We would still recommend this show.
