As a WWII history buff my knowledge of the war grew beyond expectations as I experienced these series. Beyond that the characters/actors were folks you just fell in love with over the six series. We live in America but will be in England July 5th through July 7th before we take a cruise out of Dover. I can't wait, we will be staying a night in Hastings just to envelope ourselves in the home of Foyle's War and the actors/creator who committed themselves to sharing a very important piece of virtually untold history. Thanks for starting a new series to begin in 2013!

I can't say enough good things about this excellent series, I'd have to write a book. The acting, the history, the historical settings and scenes - the actors. I know I mentioned great acting, but you just can't beat the excellent cast - everyone of them plays their characters just perfectly and you fall in love with most of them. You will never want the series to end and will watch it over and over.
