These are enjoyable stories and I really like Julia McKenzie in this role and she is quite convincing as a sleuth. Even though they are not true to the Christie stories in all respects, they are still quite worth seeing and owning in their own right. Keeping an open mind and not being rigid about the orginals, will make this a pleasant experience. Many of today's shows are not worth watching so I am looking for shows that are good entertainment. These are well worth the investment. I will watch them again and again.

I loved just sitting in my comfy recliner and being transported in time and country. I love the way McKenzie portrays Ms Marple. I have seen all the series..not all the same actresses...and they all bring who and what Ms Marple is all about. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon. Cindy

The actors do a great job, but the stories are badly rewritten. I am not interested in buying video versions that mutilate the original stories. Give me something more true to Christie's work and I'll gladly buy it.
