I have covered environmental succession in my Environmental Science class (10th grade) and have just begun a plate tectonics unit (to include volcanos and earthquakes) with my Earth Science class (8th grade). The format and material covered in this video was ideal for both. I produced a 10 question worksheet for both classes so they would follow along with the material and it worked wonderfully. An excellent product for both of these topics! Thanks!

While this show's the orignal eruption, it deals more with what happened afterword. I was there in 1984 and took a helicopter tour around and through the crater. This program brought all that back, plus brought things up to date. If you have any interest in Mt. St. Helens, you will like this DVD.

I saw this show on TV and had to have the DVD to show to friends and family. I remember the eruption of Mt. St. Helens and I find it very interesting to learn what has gone on since in that area. I was quite surprised at how quickly "life" came back.
