Very touching.

I learned a lot from this story, I never knew how
much dark skinned people were hated in England.
War time stories are always emotional, both in a good and a sad way.
Personally I was quite surprised at the bedroom scenes and could have done without them, otherwise it was a fascinating story, very well done as are most Masterpiece productions.

I certainly enjoyed "Small Island". The story was wonderful and the acting was superb. I would highly recommend seeing "Small Island"

Astonishing!

Small Island is a story that needed to be told and that everyone needs to see. It is intriguing and compelling. Great job. My only complaint is I didn't like the brief nudity, it was unneccesary.

This film deplicts the migration of Jamicians to Britian, starting in WWII. For those who wondered where, wheyn and why, this is a moving portrayal of the imtergration of people from outside Brition to make it what it is today.
