Like a crash course in astromony. Well worth the money (when few things really are these days). Dark Energy, Dark Matter, Super nova, Edwin Hubble & the Sephiad (sp?) variables of starlight, red shift wave-lengths and other mechianisms to determine how far away stars in other galaxies are from our own. Presented in a manner within the reach of understanding (by a non-astronomer) yet not over-simplifying it to baby-talk. This is the sort of presentation sorely lacking in our educational system. Science and art are not opposite ends of the spectrum. Science is pure art in its own right.
Though not perfect, closer to perfect than merely very good stuff (rating).

... Otherwise it is a good show
While the show is on a fascinating topic and is well done, it has way too much hype and "action shots" (telescopes in fast motion) and I was disappointed by this. ...Read complete review
