A truly satisfying Mansfield Park

I loved this version of Mansfield Park--Fanny is shown to be a sweet but strong character, and the other actors are also just right in their roles. I particularly liked the Fanny as aspiring writer and that her writing is taken from Austen's own early writing.

I have loved Mansfield Park from the very 1st time I read it. I know most people cant stand Fanny and see as weak and a goodie-goodie. But I find her strong when it really matter the most she didnt change her mind no matter the cost. And wasnt blinded by the pretend sparkle and hype that the Crawfords pulled on to the other characters. And happily in the end the saw her real worth as a kind and caring and the true beauty. This movie was really well done and I was totally happy with it.

Mansfield Park has never been my favorite of Jane Austen's novels but this theatrical version has opened me up to it once more. It was so beautifully done. Fanny's sweatness, Henry's charm, Edwards seriousness, all were portrayed beautifully. I especially loved the ending. I believe this to be a good choice to add to any collection.
