An excellent video. I expect to share it with my friends. I rediscovered an old friend at Earth Day 1990 and we're now happily married. THis video takes me back while it points me forward.

Wonderful perspective on where we were and how far we've come in caring for our environment. Personal stories and politics show how a movement began, a movement that had profound and tangible effects on all of us. Portions remind me of the often used comedic, "It was so hard in my youth that..." Yes it was so hard and the youth of the time did something about it. Can we ever organize like that again?

I was glued to my television watching this documentary. I hope "Part Two" is in the works to cover current events such as nuclear plants, weapons of mass destruction, pesticides that are still used and are in the soil our food is grown in and our water supply shared by farm animals. The steady withdraw of oil from the earth, oil that is there for a reason and it's not to make the wealthy wealthier. The mass suffering and death to the oceanic population due to consistent oil spills. It would help the planet if everyone were required to see this film.
