I first heard Pete Seeger in 1948 as part of a rally for Henry Wallace for president. That was the first time I learned to "sing along." Since then hundreds of times, including once when he was guest in my home. He is a remarkable American. This is an inspiring video

Thank you PBS for bringing us this inspiring program about Pete Seeger,¨The Power of Song¨. It is a memoir of sorts, giving us Pete´s musical work through decades of modern American history since the 1940´s.
Please Oh Please, make this DVD available in CD form also, and do so as soon as possible! We need to be able to take Pete´s music with us as we travel through our days, confronting the very real challenges Pete described so well in his songs!
