Idaho's Centennial Trail takes you through the core of wild Idaho. The trail itself begins at the Idaho-Nevada border and runs the length of the state, all the way to Canada. The 1,200-mile Centennial Trail is actually an amazing patchwork of single track trails, jeep trails, back roads and other routes and was designated Idaho's official north-south trail during the state's 1990 centennial celebration.

Comments about PBS Idaho's Cenntennial Trail: An OUTDOOR IDAHO Special DVD:

Well presented description of the trail. Although, it focuses heavily on the southern and mid-portions of the route.

Comments about PBS Idaho's Cenntennial Trail: An OUTDOOR IDAHO Special DVD:

I purchased the "THE CENNTENNIAL TRAIL" to show my grandchildren the wilderness country of Idaho that I had lived and worked in as a young man, hiking and on horseback as a back country guide.
I was very impressed with this DVD from PBS!
Not only did it show the area of my experience but new sections of the trail that we, as a family, can look forward to exploring.
Thanks PBS!
