Single DVD

Between 1941 and 1945, Americans from across western New England served in nearly every major battle of World War II. From the Battle of the Bulge to Iwo Jima and the D-Day invasion, these service men and women served their country with honor, with more than 2,000 of them never to return home. "From the Factories to the Frontlines" preserves some of the greatest war stories ever told by the residents of western New England.

Comments about PBS From the Factories to the Frontlines: Our Stories of WWII DVD:

The is one of the most fascinating DVD's I have ever had the pleasurer to watch. I was just overwelmed with the thought I could trace my "ancestory" back 20,000 generations (I along with my fiance purchased the DNA kit). We are anxiously awaiting the results. Dr Wells was brillant in his explanations, as well as dedicated to his profession. It was very rewarding to to see and hear a very complicated topic explained in such simple terms. Hats off to PBS and Dr. Wells and the staff at Stanford University.
