When I first saw this on PBS I was struck by the incredible photography and the music. Then I saw it again and was struck by the awesome story of the Buddha. I knew I had to have this. Then I decided to do something I don't normally do and spent a couple extra dollars for the Blu-ray. WOW! There are no words to describe how stunning The Buddha is in Blu-ray! Thank you, PBS. You never disappoint!

Whenever I feel as though I am wavering from the path, I rewatch The Buddha and it reminds me why I chose Buddhism. I love this documentary. Very well done. The music and the animation I think fits it perfectly as well, opposed to what others might say. Definitively recommended.
