Comments about PBS P.O.V.: Food, Inc. DVD:

This documentary exposes the truth about the food industry and it is somewhat disturbing. I feel very disappointed in our government and nation's leaders in the food industry. I am happy to see that there are people trying to make a change though. This definitely motivated me to make changes and to encourage others as well. The references at the end are a great source for further exploration of this topic. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Comments about PBS P.O.V.: Food, Inc. DVD:

The best documentary I have seen. Exposes the corruption of both the food industry and the government we trust. Made an impact of how I buy my food and what my family eats. I even went and started to raise my own chickens!
I hope another documentary is in the works!
A must see for all! I think every American should see this at least once.

Monopolist Capitalism is not Capitalism

By Country Boy

Comments about PBS P.O.V.: Food, Inc. DVD:

I already knew this stuff and more. It's even worse than PBS says. What I wanted the DVD for was to share the truth about the big food industry with naive, trusting shoppers who seem to think the government agencies are protecting them and that because bad food doesn't make them sick and shorten life right away, that its okay. The problem is not with local providers, it's with monopolist producer/processors who answer mainly to the stock holders and they are the ones who are corrupting the political system for personal gain. That is immoral, lawless capitalism!
