Comments about PBS NOVA: Becoming Human Unearthing Our Earliest Ancestors DVD:

As a biology teacher, I thought this video might bore some of my students. They usually get more excited by living animals, not talk of fossils. This video does an amazing job of keeping the information interesting. It's great to use when covering Earth's History and Evolution. It explains why humans have evolved some of the characteristics we now have based on natural selection in the environments of the different times. It uses computer graphics to realistically show what these humans looked like. Very well done.

Comments about PBS NOVA: Becoming Human Unearthing Our Earliest Ancestors DVD:

Actually, I give it 4 stars +. It's much better than 'good', but not perfect! I've watched the entire DVD 5 times now (and will continue to do so) and find something new every time. But I'd like to see a time line - when (and where) each species(?) began, how long they lasted, where they went.

Will you continue this series as new information becomes available?

There's too much distraction at the beginning and end of each episode - I don't need to see that over and over.
