You will be transported to the WWII era of England in this accurate re-creation of civilian life during the war. I really enjoy Foyle and this series.

Pitch-perfect history with murder

SCI Foyle regrets not being part of the war effort except that his police work repeatedly does more for the war effort than does anyone officer. Each episode is a detailed chapter in history, well organized around a specific aspect or event of the war. Spot-on acting by great people with a murder mystery makes history very easy to take and never to forget.
