This is easily one of the finest productions ever broadcast on TV and is a must for anyone who appreciates the works of Charles Dickens. The cast is absolutely superb, and comprised of some of the most talented actors in the world. These actors have honed their skills to the utmost degree and were well directed. The sets and costumes were meticulously assembled with attention paid to the smallest detail - the furniture, the details in every building, clothing, the wood on the doors, etc. really convey the sense of the early 19th Century England that Dickens wrote about. The cinematography is also beautiful and the DVD shows details very well on a high definition TV. This is TV worth watching! Mr. Dickens supplied an ingenious story. The cast, script writer, set/costume designers and crew produced a true visual masterpiece that brings the story to life. This series deserves all the accolades it receives and more!

This whole production is so enchanting. It is one of the few that I watch over again. I love every episode - the characters are strongly developed, the cinematography is sharp and moving - everything about this is a masterpiece.

This was a fabulous book to read and the dvd series actually does the book justice! It was entertaining to watch, my whole family really enjoyed it!

Bought for my Mother in law. My husband and i loved it. So we bought our own.
well developed characters, great storylines, and subtitles so i didn't miss a thing.and Funny too!
would recommend.

I loved it on TV. I have ordered it to watch it again, and again.
It was hard to wait for Sunday nights to come around to see the next installment of this series.
I just ordered it, so now I will be anxiously waiting for it to come.
