Comments about PBS Blue Gold: World Water Wars DVD:
Hi,
I showed this film to one of the high school civic classes. It shows how we as a democracy are slowly giving up our rights to one of our most basic resource, water, to corporations.
If you thing Wall Street wrecked our economy, wait until you see how Corporations are trying to wreck our water supply, something we and our children can't live without.
Comments about PBS Blue Gold: World Water Wars DVD:
This film is mostly misinformation and sky-is-falling talk from activists and politicians, not scientists. I am a high school teacher who bought this in hopes of finding a modernized version of Cadillac Desert (which is already pretty biased). I am left-leaning, no doubt, but this is fanatical, attempting to put down everything from dams to corporate America. In doing so it loses its value entirely. We must not support this type of film-making! Concern for water resources is very legitimate, but this approach does far more damage than good. Only the uneducated could be moved by this sophomoric work.

I had watched Blue Gold on Netflix instant play and wanted to easily click through different segments so I purchased the DVD.
This is a documentary I recommend sharing with others.

This is the lecture we all need to stay alive. So please watch the documentary and then pass it along to another. Talk to your neighbors and friends. Let your representatives in your state capitol and Washington DC know how important our water situation is. Then pray it's not too late.
