Having lived in the "lightening capital of America (Florida) I can personally attest to the power and life-threatening capabilities of electrical outbursts in the atmosphere. I fear what I don't know, but now I'm content to know that I don't know about lightening because no body else can define how it works for sure either. The studies conducted are facinating to watch. I highly recommend this program; you too will be drawn into the mysterious workings of our atmosphere in it's "current" form.

My middle school kids have enjoyed this every year that I've shown it. No static issues and the content is perfectly paced and at the right level. My only gripe is that I can't get to the teacher materials through the link that is provided on the disc. BUMMER!

I purchased this video the year it was first available (2004 or 2005??). Used it with my classes (5 per day) along with 2 other science teachers and their classes. We have never had a problem with static. Also bought this on dvd and have used multiple times with no problem.

The content of this video is excellent. However, the static noise throughout the video is unbearable, and I was unable to show the video to my science classes. Is anyone else having the same problem with this video?
