Superb insight into how we got where we are today!Should be required viewing for all politicicians of every color - this was history in the making, recorded as it happened. VERY clear and concise - an absolutely superb explanation of the current crisis - TV journalism at its BEST!.

Not entirely plausible regarding Paulson. It doesn't appear that this was as "behind the scenes" as Bush's war. I was slightly disappointed with this documentary in light of the high bar that was established by Bush's War.

This piece was very insightful and illuminating. It made an extremely strong case for increased oversight of the financial markets. A must see for those individuals desiring more information as to why the "meltdown" happened in the first place.

This is a great example of how a liquidity issue can quickly morph into a solvency problem for a bank. It also exposes the high risks involved in funding long term, illiquid assets with very short term liabilities. I highly recommend this documentary.

I've watched news shows and read many books regarding the 2008 meltdown and nothing explains in understandable terms the situation better than this DVD. It will amaze you, shock you and invigorate debate on our current system. It will give you a lot of ammunition against anyone who tries to give validity to the "invisible hand". If the Government had not stepped in, we may have had to invent a new word more drastic than depression to describe our economy.

This is one of Frontline program's finest. Very well balanced and objective. A chilling account of America's financial system on the brink with a unique insider perspective.
