My dear Michel Wood, wonderfully described about India by taking so many difficulties and facing problems and so many risks. Hats off to you.However,
I have observed few things were not taken into ur
consideration, like, South India rulers.
The Emperor, SriKrishna Devaraya, Great King Shivaji,Pallava Kings, etc. and Rani Holkar from Indore, Tippu Sultan who fought with Britishers for Freedom, has not high lated. Rajastan Kings who related to Great Emperor,Akbar, who supported and helped the Akbar to develop/improve his kingdom have not touched in ur story.
King Purushotham who fought with Great Alexander has not touched by u. I strong felt that the above
are played very important role in The Indian History.

Michael Wood is a master at his art. He knows history very well, has researched it thoroughly and his narrations show how passionate he is about the subject. I started watching the video thinking it would be boring but I wanted to know a little about the history of India so I played it. I was focussed all the time, and at the end ot the 2 DVDs, I wanted more. It is very informative and very entertaining - very well made.

The Story of India is absolutely fascinating. Michael Wood is a master historian, his style is addictive - one is almost sorry that the DVDs come to an end. You wish he would go on.

More of him and more on other civilizations including modern ones like the US or the UK.

Michael Wood is an engaging presenter, enthusiastically travelling the breadth of Indian culture, geography and especially its history.
