riveting, disturbing

A riveting and disturbing documentary. Perhaps most disturbing is how the millions that congress appropriated to help Katrina victims mostly evaporated. More disturbing because the same thing seems to have happened more recently to the money intended for folks through the HOPE program, to assist homeowners who got loans they couldn't afford.

It isn't enough for Congress to simply pass laws; there needs to be much more thought about the exact sequence of actions involved in implementation of tasks the money is supposed to make happen.

Much more can be said about different aspects of this film. Each person will come away with something different.

This film should definitely be sent to President Obama. We can't afford to repeat this disaster in our attempts to help out sinking homeowners.
