With more than 8 million new infections every year, virulent new drug-resistant strains emerging faster than ever, and outbreaks across the world, tuberculosis has become the second leading cause of death from an infectious disease on the planet. Jezza Neumann travels to Swaziland, the country with the world's highest incidence of TB, to deliver this unforgettable portrait of the people living at the pandemic's epicenter.

A Must See Film For The Globally Minded!

Comments about PBS FRONTLINE: TB Silent Killer DVD:

I watched and was also stunned at the size of the epidemic + loved the personal impact of these poor souls. One never knows when this information will become important here at home or when involved in charity or missions work. Also loved the "Forgotten Plague" recently aired. A definite must for all graduating medical students!

TB Silent Killer

Comments about PBS FRONTLINE: TB Silent Killer DVD:

I think Jezza Neumann is either a genius or the hand of God intervened in the production of this documentary. I watched the broadcast twice and intend to buy the DVD. I had no idea Tuberculosis was affecting 8 million people every year and the little girl stole and broke my heart at the same time because of the life she has had to lead because of this deadly disease. I wish I could adopt her and her brother, I so much would like to meet and help her.
