Travel Clock

The hero of our story is an anonymous watchmaker in Regency London. Trying to combine a travel clock that needs to be small while easy to read... The poque was candle light ... little would he know that his spherical desk watch would be a highly collectable treasure. In times of need the lenses doubled to read maps and light the safari-cooking fire.

Very disappointed

Comments about PBS The Eye Of Time Clock:

Although this is a beautiful piece. There are no clear instructions for replacing the battery. I do not understand how the compass was to work as there was no needle on it.

Cheap junk!

Comments about PBS The Eye Of Time Clock:

I bought this for myself as I thought it was a neat historical looking piece. I am so glad it wasn't a gift for someone. The first clock arrived broken, the glass was rolling around in the box and the base was scratched. (I also had an extra piece that didn't make any sense as per the previous review) I sent them back for replacement. The second set looked fine, but the clock didn't work even after I replaced batteries. Beneath the glass is a flimsy piece of paper as the clock face. I contacted customer service again and returned it for a refund. Junk. Do not buy.

Comments about PBS The Eye Of Time Clock:

First, I think this an item that was returned to you and then sent to me as there was a piece in the box that made no sense in setting up the clock and no mention of it in the instructions.

Second, there are no instructions on how to access the battery compartment to replace the batteries. They have already stopped working. I am very disappointed.

Comments about PBS The Eye Of Time Clock:

The product fits the title, "The Eye Of Time Clock" excellently. Not only is it well-made with a lovely heft and keeps accurate time, if one is curious enough, it also comes apart and goes back together again! I only wish PBS had a drama to go with it!
