Garrison Keillor narrates the all-American story of two Midwestern boys who truly believed they could fly--Orville and Wilbur Wright. While they had produced a working plane by 1903, they didn't publicly reveal their invention until five years later when Wilbur executed a perfect take-off and landing on a racetrack outside Paris. Discover little-known facts about these visionary brothers and their flying machines that changed the world.

The American Experience Series is by far the best show on television. I like it so much that I am purchasing as many of the episodes as I can.

Comments about PBS American Experience: The Wright Stuff DVD:

This program really highlights the resolve and genius of one of America's most incredible inventors. I've seen several documentaries on the Wrights before, but this one really tells the story in the most meaningful and moving way. This is a must have for any aviation buff and a must see for every American.
