Comments about PBS Nature: Crash - A Tale of Two Species DVD:
This title, shown on PBS has been one of my favorites, having watched it three times. I've described it to my friends and family and now have my own copy so I can actually show it to them. As a child I found the horseshoe crabs in Cape Cod Bay, Massachusetts, fascinating. All nature lovers will find this most interesting.
Comments about PBS Nature: Crash - A Tale of Two Species DVD:
This is a wonderful story of two species dependent on each other and in danger of bieng lost by human intervention. What a shame if either were to disappear. I have shared this with everyone I can think of and hope to see the red knot as soon as possible.
Comments about PBS Nature: Crash - A Tale of Two Species DVD:
Succinct explication of the linking of two very different species locked in a rush to extinction. If this doesn't get you onto one of the environmental bandwagons (Wildlife Federation, Audubon, Sierra Club, etc. etc.) I don't know what will.
Comments about PBS Nature: Crash - A Tale of Two Species DVD:
This film captures the essence of species vulnerability resulting from accelerated human business ventures, climate change, and migratory challenges. Field research objectives and scientific work expose the viewer to two remarkable animals along with the shadows they cast on each other.
A deeply touching film - my students were captivated.
