Not enough scenery with silly narrator

Comments about PBS Globe Trekker: Around The World The Silk Road DVD:

Slap stick and self centered narrator does not seek out the rare beauties of Silk Road scenery or goods traded or interesting people. Very superficial.

Comments about PBS Globe Trekker: Around The World The Silk Road DVD:

I loved every minute watching the DVD broadcast on our local Pbs. I bought it for myself and my adorable mother who is not able to travel anymore. I just know my mom will enjoy travelling with Holly to these wonderful lands and sleep well at night dreaming about it.

Armchair Travelers

By Tours with Margot

from Holyoke, MA

Comments about PBS Globe Trekker: Around The World The Silk Road DVD:

For seniors who have apartments at our independent living complex, we entertain an eager group of armchair travelers on Saturday afternoons. Everyone loved every minute of their trek down the Silk Road. The adventure they experienced from their comfortable armchairs was the most exciting and exotic tour they've ever taken.
