Excellent presentation of conditions in the Depression. More (baby boomers) people should become acquainted with this history.

Question: Why is the voice out of sync with the people speaking? Doesn't impair the content, but is bothersome to me.

They say history is the best teacher...this proves it. How would the political pundits treat Roy Styker and crew today? What kind of social change would they try to effect? The parallels are easy to see and the photograhpy ain't bad either.

Not only are the photographs among the best ever made, the story of how they came to be left me in awe. All the forces that strive in our time to deprive people of their humanity were in play when these miraculous photos were taken. Roy Stryker, the previously unsung hero of this saga, left his own monument in commissioning these photos and in their preservation.
