Comments about PBS Core Meteorology Series 3PK DVD:
I am disappointed in this series. It is an improvement over what else is out there, but lacks professional polish and understanding. This does not meet current standards because it uses pre-1866 inch-pound units, not SI (metric). Demonstrations of instruments ignores the GLOBE program (15,000 K-20 schools in 111 countries). There is no discussion of the concept of climatic water budget analysis - soils & vegetation are not mentioned as integral to weather & climate. The 21st Century of meteorology & climate may have blossomed, but not in this series.
