This is a great show. Sad that this is the last in the series. Fine actors, shot on location, great historical glimpse into WWII on the south coast of England. Love this show. I learned things about WWII that I never knew took place by watching this series! (One example is the intricacy of the photos needed to make maps for bombing Germany- involving a murder.) The mysteries all have some interesting historical aspect to them. Inspector Foyle is right up with Inspector Morse in my book.

I Have watched and ordered all the Foyles Wars. I want more. I re watch over and over and over!!! Anthony Hoskins is a better writer than Agatha Christie. Beg him for some more. He is really the best---everyone that sees these agree. I constantly see the Foyle actors in other english movies. My husband said I think you have a crush on Foyle--maybe I do, whatever it is about these series I cannot get enough!!!!My FAVORITE one I think..... is the one when Foyle meets upw/his ole love who had dumped him and he tells her he in Not interested. LOVED It!! Also the one where Milner tells Jane there is someone else. She was such a B------!! Anyway Please get us some more Foyles--keep all the characters. LOVE THEM!!! Sharon Smith

What wonderful writing, acting, settings, etc. Michael Kitchen is superb as are Honeysuckle Weeks and Anthony Howell. I'm so sad that the series has ended, especially knowing that there were more episodes in the works. It stands out as one of the finest programs I've seen in years. If there is any way to bring it back with the original cast, please do so. I recommend it to everyone wholeheartedly.

I cant believe there aren't more. One of the finest pieces it has ever been our pleasure to watch.
The filming is breathtaking, the stories fascinating and you feel like you are right there with the main characters. Wish there was another series.
