"Cracking the Maya Code" is a fascinating scientific and anthroplogical detective story. We are planning to visit several Mayan sites on vacation, and this video heightened our interest in our upcoming trip.

My son was adopted from Guatemala and I cannot wait for him to be old enough to watch this program. It was incredibly well made and presented. The content remarkable. Wow.

The combined efforts from the History, Linguistics, Astronomy, Art, Architectural and several other disciplines made the breakthrough of deciphering the Mayan language possible. Recommended this to a close friend who is going to work this into his Foreign Culture class curriculum.

I sat in total awe as I watched the history of modern day scholars unravel the apparent mish mash of seemingly beautiful nonsensicle mayan symbols to reveal an awesome language depicting mayan history and culture. WONDERFUL!!!
