In June 2007, as the American military surge reached its peak, a band of National Guard infantrymen who call themselves The Bad Voodoo Platoon was deployed to Iraq. To capture a first-person account of the new realities of war in Iraq director Deborah Scranton supplied cameras to the soldiers so they could tell the story of their war. The film intimately tracks the veteran soldiers of Bad Voodoo through the daily grind of their perilous mission.

"My veteran loved it"

By Armywife

Comments about PBS FRONTLINE: Bad Voodoo's War DVD:

My husband served in Iraq and owns several related DVDs. After watching this one, he said it was the best one yet-- it really conveyed what is going on and a lot of what he did there as well. It was great for me to watch it with him and hear his stories.
