Stunning!

I first watched this program on T.V. the very first time and loved it so much I felt the need to purchase it.
I watched it last night and again was in awe at how deeply this man felt and how he saw and lived life in the moment. This was an exceptional film about an exceptional man. Thank you PBS for sharing this magnificent man with the world.

A dignified tribute to this craftsman. His heart, body and soul are well felt throughout the documentary...it is almost as priceless as Leaves of Grass.

I watched this documentary in the hospital the day my son arrived to this world. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wishes to learn about this master poet or to get inspired in life. Essential American history.
I love the PBS American Experience series.
