Once again no disappointment with a beautiful story by Miss Austin.
Historical discoveries of the social graces and such detail in each character.
Loved watching it with my daughter.

I really enjoy watching British actors perform these literary classics. They seem to be able to lose themselves in the characters and story being performed so well that one feels as though the story is a reality. We couldn't have enjoyed these two more!

I have seldom in my life had any entertainnment so divert me to better spirits. In conditions under which the fog rises from the shattered rather than from the dear sea, is this not a wonderful relief? As an old man, I must say that "Persuasion" has grown on me and is, perhaps, the most delightful performance that I have seen in many years apart from non-modernist opera. Thank you.
