concerned for the overview

Comments about PBS King Corn DVD:

When an ingredient becomes such a large % of our food stuffs(read food labels) and is even fed to other parts of our diet who do not normally consume that item and must be fortified in order to continue ingesting it...isn't that a flag to us that we should re-evaluate that proedure? It is only a small part of the foodchain which promotes poor enivironmental issues as well....
but turns out to effect healthcare costs as well.

Wake up call

Comments about PBS King Corn DVD:

The corn producing industry has a sweet deal going. Meanwhile, we are poisoning our cattle and ourselves with corn byproducts. I am having trouble even looking at beef, much less eating it. And High Fructose Corn Syrup is my new "four letter word". The film was quite an eye-opener on what's really in the American diet.
