A Mixed bag

Comments about PBS Evolution Box Set 4PK DVD:

Evolutionary arms race and Why sex are 2 of the best shows on the topic i have ever seen. Parts of Extinction and Great trensformations are good... the other 3 are a) a docudrama about Darwin b)speculation about evolution of man .... interesting but overly speculative and 3)trying not to overly offend the ID crowd ... 2 tapes can stay in the box and the other is not good for a class presentation .... 2 hours of greatness, 3 more of sporatic greatness and 2 hours of wasted time ... watch parts of this series in conjunction with "What Darwin never knew" (a solid 5 star effort) for a good overview of Evolution
