I read the book and couldn't wait to watch Jane Eyre(2011 version with Mia and Michael) I wanted a more detailed version so I dug around and found out Masterpiece Theater did one as well awhile back. I didn't second guess the purchased so I went ahead and bought this one. It had all the details I wanted!! If only I could incorporate both movies together, I feel this lacked the important lines and 2011 version had it spot on! All in all this was a great movie! Masterpiece Theater never fails! I have not seen Weathering Heights but I'm waiting to read the book and then watch it, but the newer Weathering Heights is the one I really want to watch!

I had seen the Jany Eyre story and decided to purchase this collecton as a Christmas gift for a friend who loves PBS productions as well...she was just thrilled to have a new set of classics to enjoy. Great choice for the romantic in us !

These two productions are beautifully filmed. Classic romance at its best. Mix of emotional elements throughout.

This is by far the BEST version of Jane Eyre EVER! I have watched over and over again and it never gets old. TERRIFIC!

I enjoy watching this movie over and over again. Jane finds a man that truely respect and love her.
