I viewed Disc 1 as interesting history; but Disc 2 became very personal. My family immigrated to the US and were taught to be very suspicious of the Government. I remember an older aunt telling me that no country ever welcomed Jews and we should always be prepared to be forced to move. She remembered the removal of the Japanese Americans from the West Coast and said we would be next. Instead, WW2 became a major landmark moment of acceptance, exactly as described. Exceptionally informative, especially as it describes the generation of my parents and myself. I've given it to my grandchildren to help them understand who they are as they prepare for their bar mitzvahs.

Well, I happen to love Jews and there are Jews in my family so what can I say... I loved it.
Jews in America have helped in the making of this country in so many ways.
Remarkably, most of the Jews arriving in America had no relatives and no money and they all succeeded superseeding all other immigrants from the world, even despite being rejected and secluded in certain areas.
I'm happy they're still around with us.
I'm proud of the Jews in America, I think every one should see this well done documentary.

It explains the understanding for the ways Jews make up the business industries as well as most of American Heritage. Whatever we hear and read, it might be of the Jewish ideas spread into our lives.

I originally bought this DVD for my nephews, ages 14 and 12. They are African American and Russian Jews. We watched over several days and discussed the presentation. It was a learning experience for all of us and I would recommend it to all.
