I bought the African American Lives Vol. 1 and was very disappointed!!! It did not include all of the seens that was aired on TV. In fact, the reason I even purchased it was for the seen that was NOT included on the home version. I'm not sure if I want to even take the chance of getting Vol 2.

I got the 1st DVD set of PBS series and found it very interesting and educative! Only thing…Gates talk too much about how much he is white and how much he is black, which my kid found absolutely adorable. Due to this would not recommend watching with little kids as my kid (6 y.o.) actually got in trouble in school getting into the philosophic battle with his teacher and classmates on how much he is black/white. I am actually looking forward to get another set for me. Irina.
