Great teaching resource!

I show segments of this documentary in my 9th grade world history class. We use it to discuss the origins of Athenian democracy and its development after the Persian Wars. Students find the technology developed by the Athenians to facilitate political participation especially interesting.

"Good stuff"? Stuff? I give it four stars without the slang.

The video is better history than our children are taught in school. Please consider offering it to teachers at a special, very low price. (I am not a teacher, just someone concerned about America's rising level of ignorance.)
