Good, good...

I've showed this to my 7th grade class the past three years. I created a worksheet to go with it that helps keep them focused. I find they really like the first half with the live action recreation of the expedition. The second half is not quite as exciting, but I feel like it does a pretty good job of fleshing out Columbus's first expedition.

Tried showing this to my students and most were very bored. Shows too much about the modern crew sailing and not enough time on Christopher Columbus and his journey.

Magnificent Indeed

I came across this documentary quite unexpectedly and soon I was captivated. I learned more than I ever knew, or even had imagined existed about Christopher Columbus and his voyage. It was well made and easy to understand and gave me a whole "new world" of understanding about the events, the people and civilizations of the Old World and the New World.
