Geraldine McEwan may well be one of the best actresses to play Miss Marple on the silver screen. I've now seen six of these slouths on TV or by video. This 3rd series has been wonderfully and fairly faithfully scripted and beautifully filmed for us. None of the stories were new to me, but locations used are exceptional, ensuring fresh and engrossing viewings. I've just ordered two more of the series for next winter's evening entertainment. Well worth the investment!

I love all of Agatha Christie's Miss Marple stories and I have to say Geraldine McEwan is the best Miss Marple. I hope she comes back. Although, I bet she'll agree that Margaret Rutherford takes the prise! :)

We heartily enjoy a mystery on Sunday evening and went in search of all of the old Miss Marple's to satisfy. This series is very enjoyable and quite well done. You can enjoy English country side and work your brains. Thank you PBS shop for keeping the best things alive.

Quality of the DVD was excellent, and of course, loved the story line.
I especially like the serieS w Geraldine MCEWAN in the lead role.

It's unfortunate that the latest Miss Marple series is not as lifelike as Joan Hickson and G. McWan. Ms. McWan is lively and protrays a true sleuth nature. Excellent protrayal.
