Comments about PBS A Chef's Life with Vivian Howard: Season One Part 1 DVD:

Chef Vivian Howard has really provided insight to the joys and pains of opening, reopening (after a horrible kitchen fire) of their restaurant Chef and the Farmer in St. Kinston, NC.

On a personal level she introduces us to members of the community and for those unfamiliar with these parts of North Carolina, it's true and real.

Her no nonsense approach to cooking, managing her staff (with her husband of course), being a mom of gorgeous twins (boy and girl) and watching her parents, you really get the feeling that she's wide open and willing to share. I have both DVDs and this is a must have series for your DVD library!

Great Show!

Comments about PBS A Chef's Life with Vivian Howard: Season One Part 1 DVD:

Vivian and her family stole my heart from the first bite. I love the field trips she takes us on. This evening I learned a lot about oysters and how to make a sauce for them. Vivian is so talented and yet so down to earth, who wouldn't fall in love with her show? So entertaining and enjoyable. I hope there are years more shows to come. Thank you for the delightful shows I've already seen.

Comments about PBS A Chef's Life with Vivian Howard: Season One Part 1 DVD:

Perfect is not a good enough word for this charming show. I look forward to seeing Vivian every week. Please continue for years to come. It is so wonderful seeing how things were made years ago like the boiling of peanuts. Polenta corn show was wonderful. Really can not pick my favorite. I have my two daughter hooked on the show. Vivian you are truly a beautiful woman inside and out. Wanted to know if you miss NewYork.?

Linda from Seattle.
