Excellent story line and visually beautiful scenes and clothing. If you like the "Family Saga" stories, this one set in the 18th century is wonderful. Very beautiful and thought provoking family message.

Ladies Ruled in 18th Century Ireland

We remember seeing this the first time several years ago and were completely entranced then. Upon replaying the three discs, we were again enchanted. Beautiful costumes and settings, and, of course excellent acting by everyone. The story line is historically accurate, which is very satisfying.
